In April 2018, Ascender partnered with Dell Boomi to enable seamless cloud-based integration of payroll and human capital management systems with business-critical applications used by organisations in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. With Boomi, Ascender customers will benefit from: the delivery and maintenance of standard integration packages for a range of major vendor systems within a cloud-based subscription model; the ability to configure and deliver new integrations much faster; immediate updates, including enhancements and corrections; and significantly improved cost-to-benefit ratio when compares with traditional integration approaches.

In September 2018, Ascender acquired PeopleStreme, an international Human Capital Management (HCM) company, specializing in software development to support human resources initiatives. Ascender's scalable platform enables it to serve clients with 1 to 100,000 employees in each country. At the end of 2015, Talent2 Human Resources Managed Services rebranding to Ascender.
