With the acquisition of ITN, Aventri has added high-tech badges and many more tools, because ITN was specialized in badging, access control, lead retrieval, ticketing, registration, and more using electronic NFC (near-field communications, also called RFID) tools. This is the fourth acquisition Aventri has made in the past three years, and it follows their recent rebrand and the majority investment by private equity firm HGGC. In March 2017, etouches acquired LOOPD, a leading onsite data-drive technology. The acquisition complements etouches' focus on a data-driven approach to enhance clients' event success and further positions etouches as a full enterprise solution.
