In 2015 Dealertrack, which specializes in ERP systems for auto dealers, was acquired by Cox Automotive, a subsidiary of media conglomerate Cox Enterprises, for $4 billion.

 

Dealertrack is one of the biggest ERP applications vendors for automotive dealers. After a series of acquisitions, Dealertrack has become one of the key enablers for dealers to automate their front-to-back-office functions providing them with easy-to-use tools and real-time data access to enhance their efficiency. It also operates one of the largest online credit application networks in North America, connecting more than 20,000 dealers with more than 1,400 lenders.
