In October 2020, dominKnow unveiled a new collection of off-the-shelf micro-learning courses available from the ELB Learning (formerly eLearning Brothers). Created in dominKnow | ONE’s true responsive authoring option Flow, the courses were designed around ELB Learning (formerly eLearning Brothers)’ new Rockstar Learning Model. The Rockstar model moves beyond merely having learners consume content information to ensuring that they learn, rehearse and perform. On the other hand, Claro is the “traditional” eLearning option – it’s similar to working in PowerPoint and is great for making slides-based eLearning courses.
On the other hand, Flow is an true responsive option. Responsive design is the basis of pretty much all web sites these days, and Flow helps authors create modern web design content for eLearning courses as well as other learning experiences like infographics or a knowledge base. Both options publish HTML5-based content, so both work on mobile devices as well as laptops and desktop computers, but we want to point out that dominKnow has limited audio and video editing functionality.
