Interactive Intelligence specializes in customer engagement, communications and collaboration applications. Its offerings include CaaS for mid-size to large contact center operations and PureCloud Engage for operations that include a smaller number of agents. Companies can deploy its cloud-based services via a hybrid model that keeps their current telecommunications circuits, all voice traffic and critical data at their site, as well as providing for local survivability; or as a centralized model that routes calls between Interactive Intelligence data centers and customer locations via the Internet or, optionally, MPLS. In the centralized model, telecommunications circuits terminate at one of Interactive’s data centers.

 

In 2015, Interactive Intelligence unveiled PureCloud Collaborate and PureCloud Communicate leveraging its new distributed multitenant PureCloud platform designed for rapid deployment, unlimited scalability, and maximum reliability and security. The products offer enterprise collaboration tools, such as searchable employee profile information, instant messaging, multi-user chat rooms, multi-party video conferencing, and desktop sharing to help increase productivity. In addition, integrated content management offers cloud-based storage and easy sharing of documents, images and other content for simple, secure and efficient team-based collaboration.

 

Other features include IP PBX capabilities, including auto-attendant, call recording, speech recognition and unified messaging that meet the needs of the largest organizations, as well as support for multiple voice, video and mobile endpoints that extend communications and collaboration to any device, including landlines, for a more productive mobile workforce.
