Intrado Recent Developments
In August 2021, Intrado Corporation made a partnership between Intrado Digital Media and Interprefy, a leader in cloud-based remote simultaneous interpretation solutions. The partnership enables the delivery of multi-lingual audio content in real-time for clients using Intrado Digital Media’s award-winning webcasting platform, Studio.
In April 2020 Intrado released its Enhanced 911 (E911) solution for Microsoft Teams with Direct Routing, which enables enterprises to route and deliver 911 calls and dispatchable location information to the appropriate emergency assistance center.
The E911 solution supports all users, whether on-premises or remote, to help organizations meet E911 federal and state regulations, while avoiding liability risks. Intrado’s E911 solution for Teams is a plug and play product that benefits from Microsoft’s new Dynamic E911 feature, allowing enterprises to automatically locate Teams clients and provide granular, dispatchable location information with a 911 call.
With the Federal Communications Commission’s recent adoption of dispatchable location rules, and as a result of Section 506 of RAY BAUM’S Act, enterprises are assessing and augmenting their E911 capabilities to ensure compliance with these new regulatory obligations. Teams’ new location tracking feature, coupled with Intrado’s E911 solution, is an end-to-end emergency strategy that helps organizations meet these regulations, and keeps everyone in the enterprise safe.
In June 2019, West Corporation rebranded itself to a new company name, Intrado. The new Intrado brand includes the tagline “Information to Insight. The tagline is a purposeful statement reflecting Intrado’s mission-critical role in connecting and engaging people and businesses with each other at the right time and in a manner that makes the communication relevant and actionable.
In October 2018, Intrado acquired ZFERRAL, doing business as Ambassador, a cloud-based relationship marketing platform. Intrado Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities
In August 2020 Intrado has acquired Junction Networks doing business as OnSIP, a provider of Unified Communications as a Service (“UCaaS”) and collaboration solutions for small and mid-size (“SMB”) customers.
OnSIP’s cloud-based calling solution is used by thousands of SMB customers in the U.S. as a next-generation replacement to a traditional, on-premise phone system. OnSIP customers enjoy the benefits of an on-demand hosted platform without the high cost, burden, and inflexibility of traditional economic models. The solution is a full-featured voice offering that is easy to provision and typically takes only minutes to configure. With the addition of OnSIP, Intrado now has a fully-integrated product solution to serve all market segments with collaboration, calling, meetings, events, contact center and messaging tools along with real-time support, professional services, self-service capabilities and a global reach.
Intrado was purchased by Apollo Global Management, a New York-based private equity firm, for $5,2 billion.

Intrado Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In September 2021, Intrado Corporation (“Intrado”) is rebranding its Digital Media business to Notified. The rebrand will provide Digital Media with a unique market identity, representative of its full solution suite.
In September 2021, Intrado Corporation unveiled new capabilities within HouseCalls Pro, its digital patient engagement platform. HouseCalls Pro automates workflows and fosters true two-way communication between patients and health systems, creating a superior healthcare experience for patients and improving long-term outcomes.
In 2019, Intrado acquired NSO Group AB, doing business as Notified. Other acquisitions made by Intado are the acquisition of INXPO, Inc., a provider of feature-rich webcasting and online events for the enterprise; Flowroute, a leading software-centric service provider that supplies telecommunication services and technology for cloud-based products; AVOKE from Raytheon Company.
