In June 2020 Lifesize introduced native integration with the Alexa for a Business intelligent assistant from Amazon Web Services (AWS), empowering Lifesize customers to tap into productivity-enhancing, voice-activated controls via their existing Lifesize meeting room systems, without requiring additional hardware. As part of the launch, Lifesize and AWS will offer 90 days of complimentary service for joint customers to trial Lifesize with Alexa for Business.

In February 2020 Lifesize named SYNNEX Corporation (NYSE: SNX), business process services company, as its master agent, with service provider Connection becoming the first agent under the restructured relationship. The updated relationship is indicative of Lifesize’s official shift toward a partner commission-centric model in the U.S., which will begin to take effect in phases for distributors, resellers and managed service providers (MSPs) in the geography starting March 2020. Under the new arrangement, partners operating through SYNNEX and other Lifesize master agents receive industry-leading commissions on meeting room system hardware, including Lifesize Rooms-as-a-Service, as well as on upgrades, cloud video conferencing service licenses and renewals.

In January 2020 Lifesize announced a new distribution partnership with Tech Data, to more effectively deliver Lifesize meeting room systems and video conferencing services to a broader portion of the Australia and New Zealand region.

In December 2019 Lifesize launches Rooms-as-a-Service effort to court video conferencing, meeting room customers (The Rooms-as-a-Service plan starts for $99 per room per month and is available in the U.S. and Europe.)
