Mitchell and Collision Repair industries announced the availability of the Mitchell® Cloud Glass solution, a glass repair and replacement system that directly links OEM repair procedures found in the Mitchell TechAdvisor database to National Auto Glass Specifications (NAGS). This combined with Mitchell’s diagnostic and calibration tools—is designed to save technicians time and help ensure proper, safe repair of vehicle windshields, including those with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Mitchell released Account Maintenance, a new feature in its SmartAdvisor bill review platform that boasts an upgraded configuration interface. The feature was specifically designed to improve efficiency and consistency for users responsible for configuring their unique systems settings within the SmartAdvisor application.

In November 2018, Mitchell International and Collision Repair industries launched the Mitchell ReviewStat solution, its newly upgraded, transformative medical management software for the workers’ compensation industry.

Following the 2017 acquisition of UniMed Direct, Mitchell focused on the core of UniMed’s legacy ReviewStat product, making enhancements to deliver more robust capabilities.

In October 2017 Mitchell launched Mitchell WorkCenter Assisted Review, the first integrated workflow solution to leverage artificial intelligence for the estimate review process. Coventry Workers’ Comp Services is currently a division of Aetna, a CVS Health company. With this acquisition, Mitchell | Genex will expand its capabilities, and add Coventry’s leading PPO network to its continuum of care and cost containment offerings. The inclusion of Coventry Workers’ Comp Services will make the company one of the country’s premier workers’ compensation and auto network providers.

In June 2018, Mitchell International completed the acquisition of Medical Consultants Network (MCN)—one of the nation’s largest providers of independent medical exam services in the United States. With the close of the transaction, Mitchell will now have the opportunity to integrate its industry-leading bill review systems with a leading national independent medical exam (IME) provider, to improve the end-user experience and simplify the IME and peer review process for claims professionals. The combined Mitchell and MCN solutions will leverage extensive claims datasets and analytics to develop innovative decision support and risk scores to aid in the identification of claims in which an IME or peer review may be appropriate.

In November 2018, Mitchell merged with Genex Services, the leading provider of clinical solutions to the workers’ compensation, auto and disability markets.
