OmniSci Recent Developments

In December 2019 Omnisci released version 5.0 which provides new Data Fusion and integrated Data Science capabilities, along with significant performance improvements in the core platform. These enable users to quickly fuse data and seamlessly switch between visual exploration and data science workflows to extract deeper insights, even more quickly than before.

In October 2019, OmniSci has Introduced a CPU driven version of the OmniSci Enterprise Edition which comes as an addition to the GPU accelerated version. It also announced a collaboration with Intel to improve the performance of its Accelerated Analytics Platform.

OmniSci Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions

In April 2020 Omnisci expanded its business to Asia, the next step in meeting the intensifying global demand for the company’s analytics capabilities. Based in Singapore, OmniSci’s new sales and field engineering team will provide complete local support for current and prospective enterprise, governmental, and academic customers.

Initially focused on Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and India, OmniSci’s Asia initiatives will be led by Joseph (Joe) Lee as Vice President of Global Sales. Lee, an accomplished enterprise software sales executive with strong experience serving APAC markets, will be joined by Herfini Haryono as Vice President, Industry Verticals, along with a Singapore-based field support team.

In October 2019, OmniSci, launched OmniSci 5.0, a major step forward in making analytics instant, powerful and effortless for everyone available later this year. Users will be able to quickly and easily augment their existing datasets in OmniSci, with external data from partners and public data sources, providing greater analytical breadth and perspective.

In the same month in 2019, OmniSci made a collaboration with Intel to further improve the already impressive performance of the OmniSci platform running on Intel architecture. The announcement coincides with the launch of a CPU version of OmniSci Enterprise Edition, allowing OmniSci's proven innovations in interactive analytics, data science and location intelligence at scale, to reach a bigger audience of data scientists and analysts than ever before.

In April 2019, OmniSci, the pioneer in GPU-accelerated analytics, today make a promotion of Grant Halloran to a chief commercial officer, a new position.
