In November 2021, PerkinElmer, Inc., launched its PKeye Workflow Monitor, a cloud-based platform enabling laboratory personnel to remotely manage and monitor their PerkinElmer instruments and workflows in real-time.
In July 2020, PerkinElmer released updates for Signals Notebook is now live with the following improvements. CAS Numbers and density will be returned to Signals Notebook from ChemACX where relevant. Bookmarks and dashboards are now persisted across terminals and browsers. Chemists can edit compounds in the Materials Library, and bulk upload settings are now persisted. Experiment and other object settings have been consolidated in the administrator console. API endpoints around Materials, Archive and ChemDraw reactions have been added or improved.
In June 2020, PerkinElmer released ChemDraw and ChemOffice version 19.1.1 giving back more and more precious time back to chemists, and providing them with new ways to make their research stand out in a globally competitive environment as well as novel features to help chemists conduct research more safely.

In July 2021, PerkinElmer Inc. (NYSE: PKI) is making yet another acquisition, this time the biggest one in its history, buying San Diego, Calif.-based BioLegend for $5.25 billion in cash and stock. Goldman Sachs provided bridge financing for the deal. The transaction marks PerkinElmer's fourth such deal since the beginning of May. The Waltham company recently acquired SIRION Biotech GmbH, a German provider of viral vector-based technologies for use in cell and gene therapies, for an undisclosed amount; Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings PLC, a U.K.-based diagnostics firm, for $155 million in cash; and Nexcelom Bioscience, a Lawrence-based maker of automated cell-counting and imaging instruments and related technologies, for $260 million. Earlier in the year, PerkinElmer acquired Oxford Immunotec for $561 million and ES Industries for an undisclosed amount. The BioLegend acquisition is also PerkinElmer's largest in history. Through the deal, PerkinElmer will get the firm's 700 U.S. employees, a full suite of antibodies and reagents to sell to academic and biopharmaceutical customers, and its San Diego campus, which PerkinElmer plans to turn into its "global Center of Excellence."
