protel and Posera have developed a two-way interfacing system, creating a powerful and flexible management platform that allows free communication within a complex hospitality framework. Hospitality properties can communicate guest and billing information through protel’s innovative cloud PMS, protel’s Enterprise Hospitality Platform, and food and beverage venues through the feature-rich Maitre’D POS, instantaneously reconciling sales data and consolidating sales reporting across the property or property group.
Xn Hotel Systems Group Limited and Protel hotelsoftware GmbH announced a strategic investment and expanded international alliance. Protel hotelsoftware GmbH entered in a partnership with central data management platform Dailypoint in early 2019. It will allow protel customers to automatically clean, correct, and de-duplicate their guest profiles within their protel PMS.
Protel Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities
In 2019, Posera Ltd. (“Posera”) acquired by Posera by PayFacto Inc. (“PayFacto”) has been completed. Pursuant to the Arrangement, PayFacto has acquired all of Posera’s issued and outstanding common shares (“Shares”) for $14.5 million CDN on a cash-free, debt-free basis, in an all-cash transaction, of which $1 million will be placed in escrow for a period of 2 years.
In 2015, Protel acquired a majority share of incub8 Software Labs, ushering new apps that incorporate Data Warehouse solutions for Cloud-based reporting for the hospitality vertical.

In 2015, protel acquired a majority share of incub8 Software Labs, ushering new apps that incorporate Data Warehouse solutions for Cloud-based reporting for the hospitality vertical.
In 2014 protel introduced a mobile app that enables its hotel guests to better connect with the lodging facility after they make a reservation. After it’s downloaded to their phone, the app is then available as a kind of mobile concierge providing the guest with information and service.
In 2013 protel reaffirmed its commitment to the Austria market by opening a local subsidiary.protel has been working with about 1,000 customers in Austria. The partnership between Protel and Serenata CRM resulted in a advanced 2-way integration between protel On-Premise and protel Air. Established in 2018, the technology partnership between Serenata CRM and protel has resulted in a robust, fully integrated, and standardized solution for the hospitality industry.
