In 2022 SYSPRO: 1. Improved collaboration through the SYSPRO Supply Chain Portal: Manufacturers and distributors have started to see the importance of continuous engagement with an ecosystem of suppliers and customers in ensuring business continuity. Real-time communication was a key point of failure during the pandemic. Through SYSPRO’s self-service portals, suppliers and customers can engage directly with each other. Communication can then be centralized and information can be made available in real-time. 2. Guided inventory picking solutions with missions and tasks features & mobile app support: A real challenge faced by manufacturers is the growing demand for next-day deliveries. Especially during the pandemic, the industry needed efficient processes and logistical solutions to ship orders quickly to compete in the market. To address this, SYSPRO is bolstering warehouse and logistics management by increasing last mile capabilities to improve inventory management, visibility, and control. They are building out inventory control capabilities in the form of a solution called “Missions and Tasks. This will be a mechanism within SYSPRO to push inventory movement instructions to teams, allowing a secondary level of control at the operator or warehouse level. The solution will support cycle counts, sales order picking, and material put-away transactions. 3. Revised pricing engine to handle the most complex of order pricing rules: SYSPRO’s increased focus on flexibility in the configuration of sales pricing structures will support businesses to create their own pricing mechanisms and solutions based on the unique requirements of an individual customers or group of customers. By allowing for all types of price lists to be maintained in a single place, price configuration becomes easy. This is backed by functionality that allows for mass price updates which increases efficiency even further.

In November 2021, SYSPRO launched SYSPRO 8 2021 R2. SYSPRO Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions

In August 2022, Chris Lloyd was appointed as Chief Product Engineering Officer to accelerate product development with a focus on delivering value to manufacturing and distribution customers.

In October 2021, Brian Rainboth was appointed as CEO of Americas. Brian joined SYSPRO in February 2020 as CEO for Canada, where he successfully implemented the SYSPRO business strategy and expanded SYSPRO’s footprint within the country. Brian will continue to deliver value to our SYSPRO customers and partners across the Americas and play a strategic role in enabling SYSPRO to collaborate with manufacturers and distributors as they embrace their digital transformation journey. Scott Hebert remains in his role as CEO of SYSPRO USA and will work closely with Brian to accelerate SYSPRO’s growth within the region. A new leader for Canada will be appointed at the appropriate time.

In August 2021, SYSPRO bolstered its leadership team with the appointment of Scott Hebert as CEO of SYSPRO USA. Scott joined SYSPRO USA in 2020 as Chief Sales Officer and brings with him over 25 years of experience in building successful sales and business strategies.

In October 2019 SYSPRO has partnered with the Clean Energy Smart Manufacturing Innovation Institute (CESMII) as part of a community that is helping U.S. manufacturing companies adopt smart manufacturing practices and technologies. The membership community brings together industry, academia, and federal partners within a growing network of advanced manufacturing institutes to increase U.S. manufacturing competitiveness and promote a robust and sustainable national manufacturing R&D infrastructure. As part of the partnership, CESMII and SYSPRO will work to bring awareness of the CESMII Smart Manufacturing (SM) Platform to its nationwide midmarket manufacturing customers.
