Teradata provides end-to-end solutions and services in data warehousing, big data and analytics, and marketing applications. As a major Big Data player, Teradata extended its analytics offerings by acquiring Aprimo for marketing automation applications in 2011. Aprimo has been offered via the Cloud and onpremise.

 

In 2012, Teradata rounded out its digital messaging applications by acquiring eCircle. Today, the combination of Aprimo and eCircle expertise is known as Teradata Applications. Teradata’s portfolio of big data analytic solutions, integrated marketing applications, and services help organizations gain a sustainable competitive advantage with data.

 

In the first quarter of 2015, Teradata started separating out the Cloud revenues from its marketing applications and other analytics products, underscoring its desire to better compete with Cloud-only BI vendors.

 

In March 2015, Teradata Marketing Applications announced the global availability of Teradata Digital Marketing Center, a single platform where marketers can leverage individualized insights to create more intimate customer relationships across all digital channels. Teradata Digital Marketing Center brings together a wide spectrum of digital marketing channels and data in one platform through a SaaS-based solution for email, mobile, social, web marketing, segmentation, advertising and analytics.
