Vertafore delivers software and services that transform the business of insurance. More than 20,000 customers rely on Vertafore to provide integrated technology that connects the entire industry with applications designed for agency management, rating and connectivity, content management and workflow, information solutions and producer lifecycle management. To a certain extent Vertafore symbolizes the data repository of the insurance industry whose primary characteristic may well be mountains of information that it generates.

 

In 2011 it upped the ante by acquiring StoneRiver FSC, adding 6,500 customers including independent agents, brokers, insurance carriers and managing general agencies across the country. The purchase also allowed Vertafore to cross-sell, upsell products to these customers and eventually migrate them to its flagship AMS 360 agency management platform. Vertafore continues to market FSC Rater as the quoting engine for hundreds of personal lines carriers.

 

Also in 2011 Vertafore acquired Kaplan Compliance Solutions for its producer and broker dealer compliance platform and outsourcing solutions. Soon Vertafore folded KCS into its Sircon producer licensing unit, which has been renamed Producer Lifecycle Management.

 

In 2013 Vertafore said its PLM software adoption continued to grow and over 150 million producer licensing related transactions have been completed by Vertafore customers since 1998.

 

In February 2016, Vertafore has launched Vertafore Agency SalesTrack, a customer relationship management system built on Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Customized for independent insurance agents, SalesTrack integrates with AMS 360 to centralize customer information and increase visibility into the key performance indicators (KPIs) impacting insurance sales. Vertafore and Microsoft have partnered to create this solution, giving agents a competitive advantage to improve win rates, shorten sales cycles, maximize deal profitability, and better align with the customer buying process.

 

In March 2016, Vertafore has launched Online Customer Community to increase collaboration and provide visibility into world-class products. The new online space was designed to increase connection between Vertafore and its customers, while also providing a forum for peer-to-peer sharing. The Vertafore Customer Community is hosted on the Salesforce cloud, ensuring all data and member information is secure.
