WorkForce Software, LLC Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
WorkForce Software has honed in on product enhancements that amplify its key differentiators, including the WorkForce Suite's powerful rules engine for automating processes such as employee time off calculations across multiple countries and advancing their scheduling and forecasting capabilities to include dynamic scheduling for target industries, as well as open integration and a device-independent user experience that incorporates the latest advances, from proactive notifications to conversational UI. These improvements are critical for WorkForce Software to not just sustain its momentum (24% sales growth in the first quarter of 2019), but also to ensure a lasting impact on its current installed base and future pipeline by increasing its wallet share among key accounts.
WorkForce won 155 new logos in 2018, tripling that of what it secured in 2015. Denise Broady, WorkForce Software Chief Operating Officer, said big accounts including retail pharmacies, manufacturing, and healthcare have been buying more licenses from the vendor because of their need to standardize on a modern workforce management platform to replace legacy systems that have seen diminishing returns.
WorkForce Software, LLC Risks and Challenges
Workforce management remains an art more than science for many companies and there lies the risks and rewards for WorkForce Software. Bogged down by rules and regulations, some companies prove to be agile and creative when managing their diverse workforce by relying mostly on intuition, best practices, industry-specific domain expertise and sometimes custom solutions. With the advent of the Cloud, artificial intelligence and robotic process automation, some of these existing systems may be ripe for an overhaul.
It may take time for WorkForce Software to migrate its lingering (fewer than 52) on-premise customers to the Cloud. What's more apparent than ever is for WorkForce Software to push the innovation envelope further by delivering more microservices for functions like crew management via smartphones, dynamic scheduling tools that leverage machine learning, and empowering organizations to benchmark and share workforce management KPIs across different regions. To that end, WorkForce Software is adding considerable R&D resources to make that happen, perfecting workforce management with not just science, but also easy-to-use products designed to boost employee engagement and productivity while also increasing efficiencies, cutting labor costs, and enabling strategic decision making.

Available on the Oracle Cloud Marketplace, WorkForce Software’s future-ready time and labor offerings can easily be integrated with Oracle HCM Cloud via modern APIs, further extending the value to Oracle Cloud customers.
In 2018, WorkForce Software signed a reseller agreement with Accenture. Accordingly, the company has cultivated a long list of partners that provide complementary products and services.
