About the Customer
In the late 1980s, four friends who were all veterans of the hospitality industry had the dream of opening their own restaurant. They wanted a place with a casual atmosphere and a strong focus on quality food and service. Since opening their first restaurant in 1989 in Tampa, Florida they grew into a one of the world's largest casual dining companies with approximately 100,000 Team Members and close to 1,500 restaurants throughout 48 states, Puerto Rico, Guam, and 20 countries.
Scope and Challenges
With the growth of the business, they needed a change that will correspond with the needs the company had. The legacy application for financial planning and analysis was just not the perfect fit anymore. They constantly had human errors, mainly because of the manually-based system. It's not a surprise the choose to go with Host Analytics's EPM solution, Host Analytics Modeling has become one of the fastest growing cloud-based product in history.
Outcome and Implications
Bloomin' Brands became Host Analytics's customer in the 1Q of 2016. Host Analytics Modeling has given Bloomin Brands the visibility needed to grow fast and responsibly. They can slice and dice the key metrics for our business accurately and then still have the ability to drill down into a lower level of detail. This is something we knew we needed and now we can actually do it."
