In May 2019, Logibec welcomed two new clients who are adopting its GCH VIP human capital management solution: the Villa Medica rehabilitation hospital and Le Groupe Champlain. These customers are added to the first signed at the beginning of the year - the Bellevue Pavilion in Levis - and are a definitive confirmation of the enthusiasm and strength of GCH VIP in the sector of private conventional institutions (EPC) of the network of the health. Logibec recently invested more than $ 10.0 million in the research and development of innovative solutions adapted to the new reality of institutions in the Quebec health and social services network (RSSS), following the various mergers. One of these solutions, GCH VIP, is a part of this renewal and aims to increase the capacity and efficiency of human capital management through intuitive features.

In 2015, Logicbec acquired MediaMed Technologies (MediaMed), a provider of business intelligence, performance analysis, and emergency room software solutions for the healthcare industry. That followed its purchase of Artefact, a division of LGS Group, an IBM company. Artefact is a provider of clinical software solutions including Radiology and Pharmacy Information Management Systems and clinical data interchange. Prior to this purchase, Logibec acquired REPS Software for CRM/Lead Management and clinical applications, Choice Systems for therapy management applications for the sub-acute care sector, and QuickCARE Software Services for its clinical and administrative software designed for the elder care market in the United States. The Choice Systems covers 700 healthcare facilities and QuickCARE serves over 1,600 facilities.
Logibec Risks and Challenges
In the first quarter of 2015, GI Partners acquired Logibec from OMERS Private Equity. Logibec acquired Enterprise Management Solutions division of QHR Technologies for about $20 million. The purchase gave Logibec a host of workforce and financial management applications for healthcare institutions and agencies throughout Canada. The deal underscores Logibecâ€™s desire to boost wallet share among healthcare organizations in Canada. Integrating these assets via Cloud delivery could take some time.
