About the Customer

Danube Home is the home décor and furniture wing under the diverse Danube Group. It's headquartered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Scope and Challenges

In an effort to enhance its supply chain, Danube Home was hoping to increase efficiency, throughput, and service levels of its operations. Their goal was reducing costs and providing greater visibility for both clients and staff.

Danube wanted to pool all essential company data together to integrate strategic planning into an optimized distribution network.

Outcome and Implications

With a strong track record and reputation in the Middle East and around the globe, Danube Home decided Infor was the right fit for them. Its warehouse management system requires no customization and could easily be configured to their needs.

The solution they chose was Infor Supply Chain Execution as their SCM platform. The win was in 2018 and the implementation which was by Vinculum went live in August the same year in UAB. Infor’s technologies will later be rolled out to India, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman.

“Infor demonstrated to Danube that it was committed to the success of the project and that it had the potential to deliver everything that was required on time. This was an important factor underpinning the decision to go with Infor.” - said Alaa Hewedi, VP of sales, Infor, Middle East.
