In 2016 Valmet launched a multi year global ERP program that included deployment of Infor LN Accounts Payable as part of an Infor LN / CloudSuite finance rollout. The initiative was positioned to move on prem finance capabilities to the cloud and to deliver one set of financial numbers across the group.
Implementation centered on Infor LN Accounts Payable within the AP Automation category, with standard accounts payable capabilities configured for invoice capture, approval workflows, invoice matching and payment execution, and supplier master data management. The CloudSuite cloud tenancy was used for finance deployment, aligning ledger and chart of accounts to support consolidated reporting and consistent financial close. Configuration emphasized centralized approval routing and shared services style processing to standardize AP processing across sites.
Integrations connected Infor LN Accounts Payable functions with operational ERP modules and finance consolidation processes to support end to end procure to pay flows across manufacturing, procurement and regional finance teams. Governance was exercised through a global program office with standardized policies and phased country rollouts, and Accenture provided implementation services and rollout coordination. The program objective to provide a single set of financial numbers across the group drove master data governance and control frameworks.
