Release 2, delivered as SP2 in May 2016, expanded SAP ERP ECC 6.0 coverage to include SD, FI, CO, MM, BI, BO and SRM modules and incorporated ReadSoft for invoice processing, reflecting a broad financial and order-to-cash automation scope.
The programme included 37 system interfaces and 82 custom reports, indicating an enterprise integration layer tying SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to upstream and downstream systems. Operational coverage was centered on Group Finance with PMO delivery and cutover management conducted from Luton, and the deployment activities included module configuration, interface orchestration and report migration to support R2R, P2P, O2C and SRM processes.
Governance and program controls were formalized through PMO-managed releases and cutover planning, with a programme budget of £30m.
