SD Worx recorded a consolidated turnover of 475.3 million euro in the first half of 2022. That is an increase of 18% compared to the first half of last year. Normalized EBITDA came in at 70.2 million euro, which is 9.2% more compared to the first half of 2021. During the second half of 2021, SD Worx invested significantly in attracting additional employees to support the company's rapid growth.
SD Worx is structured in two subgroups: SD Worx People Solutions and SD Worx Staffing & Career Solutions. SD Worx People Solutions provides services in the areas of payroll, HR (including HR administration), capacity management, legal support, training, automation, consultancy and outsourcing. With almost 4,000 employees SD Worx People Solutions operates in ten different countries: Belgium (HQ), Germany, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mauritius, the Netherlands, Austria, the United Kingdom and Switzerland. SD Worx Staffing & Career Solutions was created as a result of the acquisition of the Vio Group in February 2018 and the acquisition of the Flexpoint Group in September 2018. It is active in the areas of flexible work, temporary work, secondment, recruitment & selection, career guidance, outplacement, specific payroll for temporary workers and HR consultancy.
SD Worx Recent Developments
In 2021 SD Worx acquired Aditro, giving presence in the Nordics, acquired Launch!, adding capability on cloud HR technology & services on SAP , and acquired a majority in Teal partners, specialised in digital transformation. SD Worx also opened offices in Spain, Italy and Poland. SD Worx is launching a business platform business platform: the employee go-to environment, a 1 stop shop where it centralises partners that offer solutions in the world of work.
SD Worx Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities
In July 2022, SD Worx acquired HRPRO, an HR tech company located in Zagreb, Croatia. With this acquisition, SD Worx expands its local presence to 18 European countries and enters Southeastern Europe, where it sees a lot of growth potential. The family owned company HRPRO has been operating successfully for over twenty years across Croatia, Slovenia, Central and Southeastern Europe including Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Bulgaria. It currently employs over 60 people and realised a revenue of EUR 3.1 million in 2021.
In May 2020, SD Worx acquired all the shares of GlobePayroll. Founded at the end of 2015, GlobePayroll develops cloud-based technology for HR and payroll. SD Worx increased its stake in the company to over 50% in summer 2019, and now acquired all shares. Through this takeover, SD Worx is aiming to accelerate the development of digital HR and payroll technology for employers in Europe.
In April 2020, SD Worx acquired Adessa Group, a technology consulting firm offering HR software in the cloud and associated services. Earlier in February 2020, it acquired Pointlogic HR, a major supplier of innovative software for reward and management solutions and associated consulting services in the Netherlands and Belgium. Pointlogic HR shall continue to operate independently within SD Worx from its location in Rotterdam (Netherlands), ensuring continuity for its employees and customers.
In June 2018, SD Worx acquired Flexpoint Group. The Flexpoint Group includes a number of companies including Flexpoint, Easymatch Payrolling, Equipe, Trento Engineering, Trace and Redirect. These companies are active in the fields of temporary employment, secondment (temporary transfers of workers), recruitment & selection, career counselling, outplacement, specific payroll for temporary workers and HR consultancy.

SD Worx People Solutions offers a full-service package in the areas of payroll calculations and administration, tax and social-legal support and support for businesses’ HR processes to its 76,000 customers, while SD Worx Staffing & Career Solutions has approximately 3,000 customers and places more than 5,500 temp workers on average per day.

SD Worx Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In the 1Q 2022, SD Worx took a majority stake in the Belgian company, Huapii. Huapii offers a talent platform that gives employees ownership of their career through skill and performance management. This way, SD Worx is strengthening its talent management offering, while huapii is being given a springboard to break through internationally.
In 2022, the Aditro name and brand will be replaced by SD Worx, so stay tuned and keep an eye on SD Worx in the Nordics.
The acquisition of Adessa Group will strengthen the existing SAP and SuccessFactors teams at SD Worx. Adessa will become the brand name within SD Worx for the SAP HCM, SuccessFactors and HR technology consulting business. Founded in Belgium in 2005, the Adessa Group has 70 employees across five offices in Belgium, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. This acquisition will give SD Worx a foothold in Spain, in addition to its existing presence in ten countries.
In 2019 SD Worx Staffing & Career Solutions has taken important steps with the launch of the SD Worx Staffing Solutions brand and the integration of Vio and Flexpoint.
