In October 2022, ECI Software Solutions finalized the acquisition of ES Tech Group, a UK-based B2B eCommerce software company catering to SME manufacturers, distributors, and wholesalers. This strategic move enhances ECI's eCommerce portfolio, strengthens its foothold in the digital economy, and enables expansion into previously untapped markets.
By the end of 2021, Leonard Green & Partners (“LGP”) acquired a majority stake in ECI Software from funds advised by Apax Partners and The Carlyle Group. Upon completion of the transaction, funds advised by Apax Partners, which acquired ECI in 2017, will retain a minority stake in ECI.
In October 2021, ECI Software acquired Merchant Systems Group Ltd, the UK-based developer of the eCommonSense platform, an ecommerce and product data management solution specifically designed for merchants and suppliers in the construction products supplies sector. eCommonSense will join ECI’s LBM and Hardlines group, which will leverage eCommonSense as both an integration to its cloud-based ERP solutions as well as a standalone global eCommerce solution.
In June 2020, ECI has agreed to acquire substantially all of the assets of Prosperity, a software company serving the lumber, building materials (LBM) and hardlines industry. Prosperity will become part of ECI’s LBMH Group.
In August 2019, ECI has acquired Netherlands-based Trivest Beheer B.V., a provider of smart vertical software solutions to the SME manufacturing sector. With this acquisition, Trivest’s nearly 3,000 customers and more than 300 employees will join ECI’s manufacturing division. Trivest provides industry-specific software solutions for small to mid-sized companies in the manufacturing sector, including ERP (enterprise resource planning) software, APM (advanced production management system) software, MES (manufacturing execution system) software, CAD/CAM design software, business intelligence solutions and mobile applications.
In July 2019, ECi Software acquired Pacsoft, a provider of inventory management and point of sale software solutions for hardware retail and trade businesses worldwide and with a significant presence in the Australian, New Zealand, and Pacific Islands markets.
In December 2018, ECi Software Solutions acquired Lasso Data Systems, a provider of cloud-based CRM software for new home marketing and sales.
