The critical period until 2025 will see Fujitsu focus on sustainable growth, improved profitability, and a comprehensive business model transformation. To support customer modernization and enhance international business profitability, Fujitsu will shift to a service-focused strategy.In line with this approach, and to strengthen its hardware business management, particularly in servers and storage solutions, Fujitsu announced today the integration of core functions into "Fsas Technologies Inc." for the Japanese market. On December 26, 2023, during the board of directors meeting, a resolution was passed by Fujitsu Limited, stating that its consolidated subsidiary, FUJITSU FSAS INC. (referred to as "FSAS"), will assume responsibility for managing Fujitsu's business activities in Japan related to the development, manufacturing, sales, and maintenance of servers, storage, and specific enterprise network products. This includes the direct sales of PCs to enterprises through a company split, effective April 1, 2024. Concurrently, Fujitsu Limited will manage the maintenance business of mainframe and UNIX servers, as well as the infrastructure construction service business of FSAS, through a company split. This comprehensive reorganization is set to take effect on April 1, 2024.
