Panorama Software Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
Panorama seamlessly incorporated its Necto product into the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, providing business intelligence users access to Necto's collaborative and suggestive features. This integration allows users to leverage dynamic infographic visualizations in a unified, self-service, and well-governed environment, taking advantage of the capabilities offered by Microsoft Azure.
In February 2019, Panorama introduced Necto Telecom on the Microsoft Azure platform, empowering Communication Service Providers (CSPs) to attain digital transformation by leveraging advanced analytics in the cloud.
In June 2016, Panorama Software launched the latest iteration of its flagship product, Necto 16. Distinguishing itself as the first and only solution of its kind, Necto 16 has the unique capability to extract insights from the entire data structure, including Dark Data, and automatically deliver meaningful insights. This updated version of the Business Intelligence (BI) and Smart Data Discovery solution empowers users to uncover insights even within their Dark Data. Dark Data refers to information collected, processed, and stored by organizations that is not actively utilized or assigned a purpose. Unfortunately, approximately 10 percent of the data undergoes analysis, leaving the remaining 90 percent as Dark Data, often overlooked by users.
Panorama Software Risks and Challenges
Panorama continues to bank on its relationship with Microsoft by extending its BI and EPM offerings featuring Necto to the SQL and SSAS environments. The new priority should be placed on how Panorama works with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform and perhaps leave room for alternative platforms such as Amazon Web Services. CONS: Needs improvement for big data analysis, needs more support for predictive and forecast analysis. Reporting customization features are limited to some extent, which might be a problem for advanced users. Support for connectivity to Netezza is not confirmed by Multilingual Support because it needs enhancement. As Panorama Necto works heavily with Microsoft, its platform is not compatible with Macs. Also, its functionality is not supported by Blackberry devices. Also, it does not support multiple languages, as well as profit and predictive analysis features. Note that Panorama does not offer in-person training or online chat support.
Panorama Software Ecosystem, Partners, Resellers and SI
Panorama boasts a broad network of partners spanning 30 countries, with offices strategically located across North America, EMEA, and Asia. Among its notable technology partners are Amdocs, Microsoft, IronSource, Amazon Web Services, SPI, TrueBlue, MOQdigital, and others. A significant collaboration unfolded as Panorama Software, in conjunction with a Toshiba Group Company, established a technology partnership focusing on real-time Big Data analytics applied to data stored in the Microsoft SQL Server 2014 database.
MOQ Digital and Panorama Software have joined forces in a partnership that designates MOQ Digital as the representative for Panorama Software's Necto BI analytics tool in Australia.
