Skyward Recent Developments
In March 2025, Skyward introduced DistrictPulse, a cutting-edge analytics and reporting tool designed to seamlessly integrate with Skyward's Qmlativ Education Management System. Developed in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), DistrictPulse enables district personnel to quickly access and analyze data, providing valuable strategic insights. Unlike many existing solutions, DistrictPulse ensures robust security by maintaining strict access controls, ensuring that data is only accessible to authorized users, in line with the security protocols established in Qmlativ.
On July 18, 2023, Skyward unveiled a partnership with ParentSquare, a prominent figure in effective K-12 school communications. This collaboration aims to seamlessly integrate the two platforms, presenting Skyward customers with additional avenues to foster and enhance school-to-home communication, ultimately contributing to improved student outcomes. Additionally, on February 21, 2023, Skyward signed another significant partnership, this time with Otus, a leader in K-12 student-growth edtech. This collaboration facilitates seamless rostering integration between Skyward and Otus, empowering educators with access to a comprehensive suite of tools designed to efficiently gather, visualize, and utilize student data, thereby maximizing student success.
In February 2021, Skyward, an administrative software provider, announced a partnership with Red Rover, an absence management solution. The partnership will eliminate the need for manual entry of employee leave and substitute work for both Skyward SMS 2.0 and Qmlativ business platform customers. Skyward customers will be able to enter time off requests within Skyward which will then be redirected to Red Rover to complete the substitute request. In addition, Skyward customers can enter both time off and substitute requests in Red Rover and the information will pull into Skyward through different options based on the platform being used.
