Altum Recent Developments
In February 2021, Altum Inc, the maker of ProposalCentral, published the general availability of Altum Insights and Altum Analytics – two new products designed to help research funders visualize impact and measure grant-making performance. Altum Insights is a deep text search and visualization tool that lets grantmakers and institutions see the connections and impact of program funding across the entire research lifecycle. Altum Analytics is a data reporting platform that enables grants makers to explore their proposalCentral funding data and make data-driven decisions. New and existing ProposalCentral customers get access to Altum Insights and Altum Analytics as part of their ProposalCentral subscription.
In 2017, Altum announced the release of the next significant version of Easygrants, its enterprise grants management solution, Easygrants 9.1. Earlier that day, the company made another announcment, Altum announced a major addition to proposalCENTRAL’s reporting and data analysis capabilities to enhance ad hoc reporting.

Altum Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In February 2021, Altum Inc welcomed the International Human Science Frontier Science Program Organization (HFSPO) as the newest funder on its platform. HFSPO implements the Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) – an international program funding frontier research on the complex mechanisms of living organisms. HFSP is supported by 14 countries and the European Union. HFSP Research Grants are awarded for novel research involving extensive collaboration among teams of scientists working in different countries and in different disciplines.
Altum RF, a fabless RF and millimetre-wave solutions provider has announced its first office in Dallas, Texas to expand the application and sales support to meet the growing demand in the United States. The new office is situated in the Telecom Corridor, a technology business centre, in Richardson, Texas, an inner suburb of Dallas. This expansion reflects Altum RF’s focus to provide superior technical support for the global customer base.
The company has been growing rapidly with an office in Sydney, Australia, and its headquarters in the Netherlands. Altum RF develops a broad range of products for commercial and industrial applications, with strategic roadmaps to rapidly expand its product portfolio.
In 2014, Altum acquired PhilanTech. This acquisition joins two grants management software providers to create a robust portfolio of product offerings to meet the needs of both grantmaking and grant seeking organizations.
