Asana Strengths, Domain Expertise, and Key Differentiators
Asana is a SaaS company in the emerging work management category. Sitting at the center of content, collaboration, and communication, Asana eliminates the 'work about work' to empower teams to focus on the work that matters.
Asana Recent Developments
In October 2021, Asana rolled out Enterprise Work Graph, a new suite of tools to help organizations stay on top of cross-team objectives while maintaining enterprise-grade security and controls. The new product is based on Asana's proprietary Work Graph data model. It aligns teams around goals, coordinates workflows and provides visibility into the status of projects.
In July 2020, Asana released Asana Goals, a flexible goal-tracking system that bridges the gap between company strategy and work execution. Asana Goals provides organizational leaders with a single source of truth for setting, tracking, and managing their company goals to ensure teams are working on the company’s most important work, no matter where they’re located.
In March 2020, Asana launched new Do Not Disturb feature for its work management tool. The feature is targeted at workers who are more likely to work from home in the current COVID-19 pandemic crisis. In itself this is a fairly simplistic feature. Asana are enabling users to set a do not disturb on their profile for others to see. They are allowed to set a schedule for when they are not working. Users can select their hours of work and which days that they are working.
