In July 2021, AvidXchange revealed that AvidPay is now integrated with TimberScan to create a complete purchase-to-pay AP solution for construction industry professionals. This new flexible API integration enables “AvidSuite for Construction,” a portfolio of construction-specific, fully automated AP products that work directly with construction accounting systems like Sage 300 CRE. With combined TimberScan and AvidPay technology, customers like contractors, commercial developers, and property managers can now match purchase orders, manage invoices, curate reports, and access stored real-time and historical payment information in one centralized platform.
In November 2020, AvidXchange launched an integration with Concur Invoice. This streamlined, cloud-based integration allows Concur Invoice customers to pay bills more efficiently by offering flexible e-payment options to suppliers through the AvidPay Network, including virtual card and AvidPay Direct – a proprietary ACH+ product leveraging ACH with enhanced information.
In May 2020, AvidXchange launched the AvidXchange Academy, a virtual resource center dedicated to ensuring customer success by offering enhanced learning and training opportunities. AvidXchange Academy gives users access to free on-demand resources, formal training programs, and a community of fellow customers to help them connect, earn valuable credentials and grow their careers.
In October 2019, AvidXchange launched AvidPay and AvidInvoice for the long-term healthcare and social services industry. By eliminating manual, back-office processes through the automation of their accounts payable and payments, healthcare and social services organizations can reduce operational costs and focus resources on more impactful initiatives for patients and residents. In June 2017, AvidXchange partnered with Mastercard to deliver accounts payable and payment automation to small and midsize businesses. To support AvidXchange's continued growth and ability to scale operations for strategic ventures, the company announced the signing of $300 million in financing with contributions from Caisse de depot et placement du Quebec (CDPQ), Mastercard, Temasek, and Peter Thiel.

AvidXchange Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In 2022, Vroozi launched Vroozi Intelligence or artificial intelligence and machine learning on the Vroozi platform. In it's first incarnation, Vroozi Intellgience targeted Accounts Payable Invoice Automation (APIA) to capture data from scanned invoices and email attachments, match invoices with orders, code non-PO invoices based on historical data, and route for approval. Vroozi Intelligence will expand to other areas of the platform to detect fraud and support upstream procurement processes (eg: coding and categorizing purchase requests and automatically create or suggest purchase requests based on trends).
In November 2020 Vroozi purchasing and spend management platform for enterprise and mid-market companies, announced a new strategic partnership with Simfoni, an AI-powered spend analytics provider. Through the partnership, Simfoni’s spend analysis capabilities will be offered alongside Vroozi’s procure-to-pay solution.
