Connectwise Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities
ConnectWise has made several acquisitions in the last year and a half. In November 2020, it acquired Perch Security and StratoZen, two cybersecurity firms, and in February 2021, Service Leadership, Inc - a data-driven TSP consulting firm.
Thoma Bravo acquired ConnectWise in February 2019. In October the same year, ConnectWise acquired Continuum and ITBoost, while at the same time making a strategic partnership with Webinfinity. Connectwise Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In August 2021, ConnectWise has fulfilled several new roles across the APAC region. These new hires are part of a broader growth strategy for ConnectWise focused on the Asia Pacific region. They will be focused on providing locally-based support for partners in the Australian channel, expanding the footprint of ConnectWise significantly across Australia and New Zealand.
In June 2021, ConnectWise hired Raffael Marty as senior vice president of product management for cybersecurity. In July 2021, ConnectWise and SentinelOne, a cybersecurity platform company, have made a strategic technology partnership to support their unified fight against cybercriminals by offering SentinelOne Control and SentinelOne Complete as standalone products in the ConnectWise security product suite.
In 2019, ConnectWise partnered with e92plus, the leading cybersecurity VAD for the UK channel. The partnership combines ConnectWise’s decades of experience in the MSP space and e92plus’ thirty years of bringing world-class security offerings to VARs. The agreement covers the UK and Northern Ireland.
In November 2018, ConnectWise has partnered with Sienna Group, a data-centric managed security services provider, to offer the Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Tool to their partners. ConnectWise continues to expand its domestic and international footprint with new offices in strategic locations including London, Los Angeles, Sacramento, Seattle, Chicago and Brisbane.
