Entertainment Partners Recent Developments
To support productions as they rebound from the impact of COVID-19, in July 2021, Entertainment Partners launched a tool to provide accurate and timely information regarding COVID-related travel restrictions, stay-at-home orders, and reopening protocols for each state and key filming jurisdictions such as Los Angeles, New Orleans, Atlanta, and New York City. The COVID-19 Reopening Tracker is available now on theProductionCommunity.com. Designed to help productions get back to work safely while staying compliant with local, state, federal, and industry-specific guidelines, the Reopening Tracker will save productions hours of research time by consolidating key information impacting production locations across the US. It offers users the unique opportunity to see up-to-date federal, state, and city-level COVID-19-related ordinances and protocols, alongside travel restrictions and entertainment industry union guidelines, reports, and agreements as they prepare their productions.
"In March 2020 Entertainment Partners acquired London-based FilmTech startup, We Got POP Ltd. (""POP""), offering the UK production industry's leading SAAS-based workforce and production management platform, including the casting portal and production portal. Through this acquisition, the terms of which were not disclosed, EP will provide best-in-class technological support for the casting and production management needs of its clients around the globe.
Since starting its journey in 2014, POP has revolutionized the way background actors are found, hired, managed, and paid with a casting portal that provides a digital, integrated, and secure system which has become the go-to source for film, television shows, and commercials. The POP solutions were readily embraced by key UK production teams, capturing more than half of the UK casting business in just a few years. Led by entrepreneur and industry veteran Kate McLaughlin, the company undertook a successful expansion into the US market with the opening of its New York office in 2017. POP CEO McLaughlin will continue to lead POP's operations and will join the EP Executive team."

Entertainment Partners partnered with GRM Information Management, a global leader in corporate Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and Document Management solutions, to introduce the SmartHub Vault. SmartHub Vault is an extension of EP's Scenechronize SmartHub, which manages and distributes documents created and used during the production of theatrical, television and commercial projects. SmartHub Vault is a cloud-based ECM solution built to enhance cross-studio information management capabilities and provide long-term storage for production archives post-wrap. SmartHub Vault will significantly reduce the hours that Production, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Business Affairs and Finance personnel have to spend on the highly time-consuming processes associated with preparation and defense of ever increasing audit activity.
