Greenway Health Recent Developments
In September 2021,Greenway Health, a health information technology services provider, announced enhanced offerings with Greenway Revenue Services (GRS), which provides revenue cycle management support to clients. Due to clients placing a stronger emphasis on the revenue cycle in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the company announced GRS Select earlier this year, which delivers more flexible support options for swift and targeted relief to healthcare practices. Greenway will continue to expand GRS services over the next 12 months to further assist clients with their financial relief strategies. The company will also further leverage AI automation and build additional GRS analytics that improve productivity and efficiency within the revenue cycle.
In July 2020, Greenway Health reached an an agreement with Amazon Web Services (AWS). The agreement will promote collaboration in the healthcare industry with the primary goal of developing transformative healthcare products that will further meet the needs of ambulatory care practices in a post-COVID world.
In October 2017, Greenway Health released Greenway Analytics to help physicians better capture and use practice data to improve patient care and align with emerging value-based care models.
Earlier, in February 2017, Greenway Health launched Greenway Care Coordination Services in partnership with MD Revolution. Greenway Health Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In April 2020, Greenway Health launched GRS Express, to ensure practice cash flow during the COVID-19 pandemic. A simplified solution for revenue cycle management (RCM) that can be deployed in as little as two weeks, this rapid response solution was designed to assist practices as they manage critical areas of the revenue cycle, providing immediate relief and improved, timely revenue collections.
In June 2018, Allscripts, Greenway Health, and InterSystems each Unveiled new partnerships with health IT solutions providers that will leverage patient health data to improve care delivery. Greenway Health's partnership will allow users to access EHR-integrated remote patient monitoring solutions.
Greenway Health Risks and Challenges
In February 2019 Greenway Health was fined a penalty from the US Department of Justice with a total amount of 57.25 million US Dollars. The source for this penalty was misrepresenting the capabilities of its Prime Suite EHR to customers and paid users to recommend the product to potential buyers.
The complaint further alleged Greenway falsely obtained the 2014 Edition certification status for Prime Suite by hiding the fact that it failed to meet certification requirements from the certifying entity. It's unclear how the integration of Greenway and Vitera will help accelerate customer adoption of its Cloud applications given the increased competition in the Electronic Health Record market. However, since that time Greenway Health has continued to release cross-platform cloud-based solutions including Greenway Patient, Greenway Community, and others, enabling rapid development and delivery of solutions that can be used across its Prime Suite, Intergy and SuccessEHS platforms.

Since August 2019, Greenway Health's Prime Suite and Intergy customers can leverage the Carequality Interoperability Framework via the nationwide CommonWell network. Greenway Health has many technology partners that offer solutions to add value to Greenway Health platform.
