Ivanti Recent Developments
In October 2021 Ivanti released three new integrated solutions: Ivanti Neurons for Secure Access, Ivanti Neurons for Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and Ivanti Neurons for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). With these releases, Ivanti continues to deliver on its mission of enabling and securing the Everywhere Workplace, empowering employees to use various devices to securely access corporate networks, data, and services as they work from different locations. Ivanti Neurons is a hyper-automation platform designed to address the exponentially growing demands on IT departments amid the rapid growth of devices and data, as well as the increasing number of cyber threats and the shift to remote work. It autonomously self-heals and self-secures devices and provides personalized self-service experiences to end-users. Ivanti Neurons uses automation bots to provide real-time intelligence across all assets in the Everywhere Workplace, including every endpoint and the IoT edge while delivering a consumer-grade employee experience. Ivanti updates Ivanti Neurons on a quarterly basis to further help customers quickly and securely embrace the future of work.
In the summer of 2020, Ivanti launched enhanced capabilities for the Ivanti Enterprise Service Management portfolio, which includes service management, asset management, and automation solutions. The new releases give service desks greater visibility, in real-time, to actionable information across their device estate to improve the accuracy, speed, and efficiency of services delivered. This leads to better outcomes and can resolve up to 80% of issues before users report them through the use of automation bots. Additionally, Ivanti Supply Chain Suite was enhanced with new Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) capabilities to the Ivanti Avalanche Enterprise Enabler, powered by Ivanti Wavelink. The newly updated solution enables supply chain organizations to quickly provision hundreds of fully managed Android devices leveraging a Near-Field Communications (NFC) bump or QR code deployment.

Ivanti Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In August 2021 Ivanti Wavelink, the supply chain business unit of Ivanti has acquired an industrial internet of things (IIoT) platform owned by the WIIO Group, one of Ivanti Wavelink’s technology and channel partners based in Paris, France. This platform acquisition will enable customers to get a 360-degree view of their IIoT equipment, proactively identify and remediate issues, and build scalable applications that drive operational efficiency, Ivanti asserts. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ivanti Wavelink is acquiring the technology to further enable and secure the supply chain of the future, the company explained. Supply chains have been constantly evolving. Today, modern warehouses and DCs feature state-of-the-art smart devices, including smart conveyors, sensors, cameras, robots, and cobots. The interconnections between all these devices and technologies can be complex, expensive, and sometimes risky. Through this acquisition, Ivanti Wavelink customers will be able to easily cross-connect applications with new systems, with a low technical gap, and rapidly automate their IIoT hardware and warehouse processes to optimize workflow operations. Customers across industrial verticals, including transportation and logistics, manufacturing, oil and gas, healthcare, and retail, will benefit from real-time intelligence into the health of their equipment, enabling them to proactively detect and auto-remediate vulnerabilities.
In August 2020, TA Associates made a strategic growth investment in Ivanti. TA joined existing investor Clearlake Capital Group, L.P. The funding will provide additional capital that will enable Ivanti to increase its investment in innovation, accelerate its global growth and continue its acquisition strategy. The company will continue to be led by CEO Jim Schaper and the current management team.
