Miro Recent Developments
In November 2021, Miro added 5 new additions to their Miro platform. The additions are supposed to help customers lead effective meetings, create a collaborative environment that suits different learning styles, and keep teams focused, on-track, and productive.
Since October 2021, the company is spun off from the Engineering Group becoming an independent entity controlled by Bain Capital and Neuberger Berman. In addition, Paolo Bergamo has been appointed as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of OverIT.

Miro Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In May 2021 Miro expanded its global footprint by opening locations in Berlin and Munich, Germany. The Berlin office will serve as one of the company’s major product development hubs, while the office in Munich will focus on serving the unique needs of the company’s quickly expanding enterprise customer base in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. In total, the new locations will bring over 500 jobs to the region’s world-class technology market in the next 24 months.
In April 2020 Miro has secured $50 million in funding, Iconiq Capital led the round with help from Accel and a slew of individual investors. Among the company’s angel investors was basketball star Steph Curry, and Dutch investor Bas Godska, one of the most prolific Western investors in Eastern Europe.
