In July 2020, Newforma revealed that Newforma Project Center v12.4 is generally available. This release includes the highly anticipated integration with Autodesk BIM 360, the latest updates for integrations with Autodesk Revit 2021, AutoCAD 2021, and Navisworks 2021, and more.
In March 2020, Newforma released Newforma Project Center v12.3. This release includes a new user interface and integration with O365 and Procore. These features along with the existing Bluebeam connector, Autodesk integrations and Newforma Cloud, further differentiate Newforma as the only provider in the AECO industry to connect project information from most, if not all, software applications used by project teams. Project Center v12.3 delivers an array of new functionality providing more visibility into project performance and streamlined simplified workflows.
Newforma Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities
In February 2021, Newforma and Technology BIM One Inc. reached an agreement under which Newforma, a portfolio company of Battery Ventures, will acquire BIM One (BIM One Consulting and its BIM Track SaaS coordination, collaboration, workflows and analytics product).BIM One will continue to function as a standalone business with co-founder and CEO Jimmy Plante now reporting directly to Newforma’s CEO.
In November 2019, Battery Ventures and Newforma acquired EleVia Software (EleVia), a financial software company for the architecture and engineering vertical market. Founded in 2016, EleVia delivers and supports software that facilitates key financial and operational processes for the architectural and engineering markets with software modules for electronic invoicing, payables approval and tracking, A/R management and collections, forecasting, and more. These modules improve cash flow, automate tasks, improve productivity, reduce operating costs, and provide valuable insight into project performance and profitability. The acquisition expands Newforma’s footprint in the AECO market with connectors to additional industry applications, enabling a more complete offering for architecture and engineering design organizations.

Newforma Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In June 2019, Newforma made integration with the Autodesk BIM 360 platform. The integration between the two will give users of Autodesk BIM 360 Design and Newforma Project Center a unified solution for searching and accessing project information wherever it resides. Users will no longer waste time thinking about where to go for project information and can access it from either the BIM 360 home screen or from within Newforma Project Center.
In March 2019, Newforma launched the first UK State of Technology Survey for AEC firms. The survey results Executive Report will be released in June 2019 and will continue to remain a free benchmarking resource delivered to Architects, Engineers and Contractors in the industry who complete the survey.
In January 2019, Newforma appointed of Marge Hart to Vice President of Product Management. In this role, Marge will be responsible for the leadership of Newforma’s flagship product, Newforma Project Center and the new Newforma Cloud product.
