In April 2021, SEMCO Energy went live with the OATI webPipeline solution. OATI webPipeline is an all-in-one gas pipeline management system that supports operations from gathering and transportation all the way to distribution.
In May 2020, OATI added Pattern Energy Group LP (Pattern Energy) as a customer. Pattern Energy Group LP (Pattern Energy) has selected the OATI webTrader to effectively manage all aspects of trading and settlements in multiple ISOs as well as Bilateral Power Markets.
In September 2019, OATI added Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) as a customer. OATI Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
OATI takes a holistic approach helping utilities better manage their operations through integrated applications for an array of business processes from boosting reliability to optimizing profitability through proven trading and analytics solutions. Heavy emphasis on smart grid initiatives has also become a key selling point at OATI. In addition, the vendor plans to offer more cloud-based Big Data analytics solutions to provide utilities with the ability to better assess the current operational state of the distribution grid and to improve forecasting and asset management.
In July 2017, OATI launched webCVR a pre-configured, cloud-based solution designed to quickly perform voltage reduction for municipal utilities with fewer than 40,000 meters. CVR provides a cost-effective way to manage electrical loads for peak shaving or energy efficiency purposes. By controlling voltage-regulating devices, utilities can actively decrease voltage consumption through changes on target distribution circuits by 3% to 5% while safely staying within ANSI standards.
