Panorama Software Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
Panorama integrated its Necto product with the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, enabling business intelligence users to benefit from Necto's suggestive and collaborative capabilities. Users can now also visualize data using business-oriented, dynamic infographic visualizations in a unified, self-service and governed environment with the benefits of Microsoft Azure.
In February 2019, Panorama Launched Necto Telecom on Microsoft Azure to Enable CSPs to Achieve Digital Transformation Through Advanced Analytics on the Cloud.
In June 2016, Panorama Software released the new generation of its flagship product Necto 16, the first and only solution in the market that is able to generate insights from the entire data structure—including Dark Data—and automatically provide meaningful insights. With the new version of the BI and Smart Data Discovery solution, users will be able to gain insights even on their Dark Data. Dark Data is the data that organizations collect, processes and stores but does not use or gain purpose from. Unfortunately, roughly 10 percent of the data is analyzed by the users. The remaining 90 percent is Dark Data and gets neglected by users.
Panorama Software Risks and Challenges
Panorama continues to bank on its relationship with Microsoft by extending its BI and EPM offerings featuring Necto to the SQL and SSAS environments. The new priority should be placed on how Panorama works with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform and perhaps leave room for alternative platforms such as Amazon Web Services. CONS: Needs improvement for big data analysis,needs more support for predictive and forecast analysis. Reporting customization features are limited to some extent, which might be a problem for advanced users. Support for connectivity to Netezza is not confirmed by the Multilingual Support because it needs enhancement. As Panorama Necto works heavily with Microsoft, its platform is not compatible with Macs. Also, its functionality is not supported by Blackberry devices. Also, it does not support multiple languages, as well as profit and predictive analysis features. Note that Panorama does not offer in-person training or online chat support.
