The advanced Sapiens Journey Builder component allows insurers to quickly define, create and manage customers and business journeys, or swiftly modify existing products – all via customer self-service.

Sapiens DigitalSuite is pre-integrated with Sapiens' core systems, facilitating a speedy implementation, and is also available as a standalone offering for carriers seeking a rapid, yet rich solution for their digital needs. Through its flexible and configurable API layer, the suite easily integrates with multiple legacy core systems, enabling insurers to quickly benefit from full digital capabilities across their entire business.

2018 was a year of organizational growth for Sapiens, a trend that has shown no sign of abating in early 2019. Sapiens accelerate its growth in the U.S. market specifically, and globally as well. Sapiens expanded the digital division’s capabilities through the leading insurance providers in the UK and Europe.

In early 2018, Sapiens offered an innovative P&C digital insurance platform. This platform will be formed by combining three powerful core components: Adaptik Policy, Adaptik Billing and StoneRiver Stream Claims, accompanied by Sapiens’ existing solutions for data and analytics, digital engagement and distribution, and cloud operation.

Sapiens International Corporation Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities

In November 2020, Sapiens International, has acquired Tia Technology, a leading vendor of digital software solutions, from the global investment organization EQT Mid Market. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed by end of this month.

In July 2020 Sapiens International has acquired US insurance software company Delphi Technology for $19.5 million. This is Sapiens second acquisition in 2020 after buying German insurtech company Sum.como for €28.4 million, and 14th in recent years. In January 2020 Sapiens International has acquired German based insurtech company sum.cumo for up to €28.4 million.

Founded in 2010, Sum.cumo services insurers in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, helping them to set up their business model and obtain a marketing edge. The company's experts in consulting, user experience, marketing and technology enable the region's insurers to launch successful e-commerce environments. The acquisition will enable Sapiens to expand its footprint by offering Sapiens' complete product and services portfolio in the German-speaking region, alongside sum.cumo's offerings. Sapiens will continue to invest in and support sum.cumo's offerings, and enhance Sapiens' digital offerings worldwide via sum.cumo's solutions and expertise.

The acquisition's primary goal is expanding Sapiens' presence in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. sum.cumo is expected to reach 2019 non-GAAP revenue of €15 million and low single-digit profitability. The total consideration is up to €28.4m (€24.4m in cash and €4m in Sapiens shares), including consideration for future retention and performance over the next four years. The acquisition will be accretive to profit starting from the second half of 2020. Consummation of the transaction is subject to certain regulatory approvals. The closing is expected to take place in the middle of the current quarter.

In the first quarter of 2018, Sapiens acquired Adaptik, the acquisition enables Sapiens to provide North American property and casualty (P and C) carriers with an enhanced platform, which improves Sapiens' competitive position and enable it to increase its market share in the North American insurance market.

In the end of 2018, Sapiens unveiled the general availability of the Sapiens ALIS 8 policy administration suite (Sapiens ALIS) for life insurance companies worldwide.
