In April 2020, Septeo acquired Softlaw. With the arrival of Softlaw within the Septeo group, the company strengthens its technological leadership. This acquisition allows Septeo to offer his customers who use Legal-Suite, Secib, and Genapi advanced solutions in terms of intelligent analysis of contracts and legal documents.
Legal Suite a division of Septeo obtained Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 certification which rewards the steps taken to ensure information security, availability, integrity, privacy, and confidentiality. Obtaining the SOC 2 Type 2 confirms the standards defined by the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountant) in terms of policy, procedures and practices for Legal Suite.
SEPTEO (Legal Suite) Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities
In June 2021, Septeo acquired Kinaxia, the French leader of real estate expertise. With close to M€20 in turnover, 150 employees based in Sophia Antipolis, and 20% annual growth, Kinaxia is a gold nugget of French Proptech. Within 10 years, it has gained recognition as a leader of the real estate sector. Combining its business expertise, Data Science and AI, Kinaxia provides real estate professionals with innovative solutions in the area of real estate expertise.
In March 2021, Septeo pursues its development strategy through the acquisition of Modelo, the French leader of online deeds drafting serving real estate professionals. A forerunner in the area of LegalTech since 2011, Modelo supports real estate agencies in the creation of compliant deeds via its smart platform. Modelo is now used by more than 12.000 agencies, including almost all national size networks such as Orpi, Guy Hoquet, Foncia, Century 21, Stephane Plaza Immobilier, Nestenn, or Laforet.
In January 2018, Legal Suite was acquired by Septeo. Combining the expertise and resources from both groups allows Legal Suite to accelerate innovation and increase its presence in North America to become one of the Top 5 global players in legal technologies.
In November 2020, The Septeo Group, through its subsidiary Secib, acquired Gestisoft, 1st bespoke management software for major law firms.
In November 2019 Septeo made two acquisitions. The first acquisition is an IT service management company ESN Novatim and the second is a telecom operator Appliwave. Founded in 2006, NOVATIM offers its SME and ETI customers complete IT service solutions: outsourcing, hosted services, cybersecurity, and IT consulting. With the acquisition from Septeo, Novatim made revenues ranging from 25 million euros. Appliwave specializes in the provision of hosting services, internet access (optical fibre), and IP telephony solutions for businesses. With these two acquisitions, Septeo is boosting its development strategy. Also in June Septeo group, through its subsidiary Secib, acquires Eficio. With this acquisition, Septeo Group will now be able to draw on Eficio's expertise and network with the largest French and international law firms to expand the marketing of its software solutions in this market segment.

SEPTEO (Legal Suite) Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In November 2020, Hg, Europe’s software investor, unveiled an investment in Septeo. Hg invested alongside founders Philippe Rivière, Jean-Luc Boixel, Hugues Galambrun and the management team, which will continue to be led by Hugues Galambrun. The investment reinforces Hg’s focus on legal and regulatory compliance tech, representing the 11th investment in this sector across Europe and North America, with over €1.5bn invested in the sector to date.
In October 2019 Septeo acquired LGI - La Gestion Intégrale. LGI is a company for software publishing for real estate professionals. LGI provides rental management solutions, condominium management, accounting, dematerialization, and services for more than 300 property managers and trustees. For the Septeo, this new acquisition will consolidate the development of its real estate division created in 2012 with the company Septeo Pole Immobilier (SPI). Septeo wants to strengthen its Parisian and national presence by continuing the development of LGI, a key player for the main property managers and trustees.

In November 2020, Sophos unveiled the extension of its partnership with Matilan, a subsidiary of the Septeo Group, and launched an upper-range cybersecurity offer for companies of all sizes.
