SupplyOn Strengths, Domain Expertise, and Key Differentiators
SupplyOn sells cross-company collaboration applications for the automotive, aerospace, railway and manufacturing industry primarily in the areas of purchasing, logistics, supply chain management, quality, and finance. SupplyOn's web-based applications can be customized and are easily integrated into internal ERP systems or existing employee or supplier portals via defined interfaces. The solutions are provided as Software as a Service and are aligned with the process requirements of the automotive, aerospace and manufacturing industry; they encompass cross-company processes in supply chain management, supplier risk and performance management, strategic and operational procurement and in quality and transport management.
SupplyOn Recent Developments
SupplyOn updated its supplier master data with central access for their customers as a service. The master data set currently consists of around 40 fields, which in addition to address and contact information include important certificates and audits as well as financial key figures.
SupplyOn uses a largely automated process to ensure that the data is continuously updated. This reduces the administrative effort required to maintain the supplier master data on both sides by up to 40 percent. Purchasing companies are able to draw on a master database of the very highest data quality and automatically transfer the current data records to their internal systems via an interface. This enhances the quality of collaboration between companies. In addition, the community effect generates valuable synergies, resulting in low master data management costs for all participating companies.
SupplyOn Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities
In February 2018, SupplyOn acquired Eurolog AG. This strengthens SupplyOn's already strong presence in the United States and China further and enforces Eurolog's internationalization strategy.
