Terminus Strengths, Domain Expertise, and Key Differentiators
Terminus was founded in 2014 to give B2B marketing and sales teams a better way to go to market. Since only 1% of inbound leads became customers, Terminus set out to build a solution to help marketers find their next best customer and give them everything they needed to create a conversation with them. The platform, Terminus Engagement Hub, connects the first and third-party data needed to understand both customers and prospects, with the most robust suite of engagement channels—including ads, chat, email, and web—available.
Terminus Recent Developments
In March 2022, Terminus launched Connected Account Experiences to transform the buyer journey. Connected Account Experiences delivers prospects and customers first-party data to improve engagement with target buyers, connected TV and audio ads to drive awareness and influence, and key integrations to support pipeline growth. In a world where the buyer journey isn’t linear and buying committees are dispersed, Connected Account Experiences empowers users to work and buy from anywhere, driving ABM strategy with dynamic data and powerful channels and tools marketers can trust to reach the right contacts at the right time.
Terminus Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities
In Q4 2021, Terminus acquired Zylotech and launched Terminus Customer Data Platform (CDP) to improve the accuracy of B2B go-to-market data. With the acquisition of Zylotech, Terminus is now the only ABM platform with a standalone CDP purpose-built for B2B. Terminus CDP enables customers to continuously cleanse go-to-market data and automatically discover new Buying Committees at their target accounts.

Terminus Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In September 2021, Terminus announced the opening of its European office as part of its international expansion strategy. Located in Paddington, the West London office will serve as the company’s international headquarters. This follows the company’s appointment of Gavin Dimmock as Vice President and GM of EMEA. Dimmock oversees the operations of Terminus’ London headquarters, in addition to hiring, scaling the company’s enterprise customer base, and supporting its growing partnership network. The rapid growth comes as demand for Terminus’ account-based engagement platform continues to accelerate internationally. Terminus’ expansion into EMEA is validated by in-depth market research in an upcoming report on the state of account-based marketing in EMEA.
Terminus Risks and Challenges
Some of the reporting is limited or rigid, specifically around individual creative performance within a campaign. Meaningful dashboard reports can be complicated to create and often rely on static lists rather than active or smart lists.
Terminus Ecosystem, Partners, Resellers and SI
In November 2021, Terminus launched a new integration with Crossbeam, a powerful partner ecosystem platform. The first and only enterprise ABM integration that Crossbeam has today, this new integration leverages Terminus’s robust API capabilities to simplify joint-marketing efforts, increase engagement across shared accounts and prospects, and streamline the partner experience for marketers.

Vendor shares and market forecast results are based on a combination of existing databases as well as demand side and supply side research conducted throughout the year with validation from vendors, customers, channel partners and documentations such as earnings releases and 10Q and 10K filings, vertical industry studies, regional and country-level statistics from public and private institutions(i.e. colleges, universities, government agencies and trade associations).
