In March 2022 Zebra Technologies launched its full suite of Reflexis solutions across the Asia Pacific (APAC) beginning with Australia and New Zealand (ANZ). This launch is a key milestone in Zebra’s vision to have every asset and worker on the edge visible, connected, and fully optimised. To spearhead the rollout of Reflexis across APAC, Zebra Technologies has appointed its Sales Vice President for ANZ, Tom Christodoulou as the APAC Lead for Zebra’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) business. A dedicated team has also been established in Melbourne, including customer service managers along with a sales team and solutions consultant dedicated to growing and supporting Zebra’s local customers.

Enterprises in APAC can now join the over 275 global retailers, restaurants, hotels, and banks, including McDonald’s, Marks and Spencer, and The Home Depot in using Reflexis solutions. Mitre 10, New Zealand’s largest home improvement retailer, has also recently introduced Reflexis solutions across its business to create a frictionless omnichannel customer experience.

In addition to Reflexis, Zebra’s SaaS portfolio in APAC also includes: Workforce Connect: a communication and collaboration platform that provides a powerful voice and messaging features on mobile devices which connect and empower front-line workers. VisibilityIQTM Foresight: a cloud-based software solution providing easy access to business intelligence on Zebra devices so organizations can leverage the most from their assets, workers, and daily tasks.

Following its launch in Australia & New Zealand, Zebra’s SaaS-based Reflexis solution will soon become available in other key APAC markets.

In October 2021 Zebra Technologies introduced the industry’s most comprehensive picking solution to help businesses improve their fulfillment operations. The fulfillment solution consists of three new autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) - FlexShelf, FlexShelf Guide, and RollerTop Guide - and a new FetchCore fulfillment software package for order or batch picking. These new offerings further extend Zebra’s position as a leader in automating and digitizing critical workflows in warehouses, distribution, and fulfillment centers as order volumes increase, labor pools get more competitive and customer expectations continue to rise.

All of these new AMRs can be purchased utilizing a capital or Robot as a Service (RaaS) model, depending upon customer preference. Deployments are fast and cost-effective because all Fetch AMRs operate on a facility’s existing Wi-Fi network with the option to use current handheld, voice, and vision technologies capable of interfacing with FetchCore’s software-as-a-service (SaaS) in the cloud.

In June 2022 Zebra Technologies expanded its service center through service partners in Vietnam to support the growth in local demand for printers. In September 2021 Zebra Technologies introduced the ET80 and ET85 (ET8x series), a new series of Windows 12-inch rugged tablets and 2-in-1s. The ET8x series is designed to improve productivity and safety across multiple industries. These innovative tablets are Zebra’s first tablets with support for Wi-Fi 6E and 5G, providing advanced wireless connectivity to help ensure mobile workers remain connected in any environment.
