In July 2021, Zycus filed a patent for its Artificial Intelligence based Merlin Invoice Reader at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). Merlin Invoice Reader is a novel invention of Zycus. It is an intelligent solution for automatically extracting key information from header and line levels of invoice documents.
In August 2018, Zycus has unveiled successful global implementation of its procurement automation solutions, including e-Sourcing, Project and Financial savings Management. Zycus had already been providing its Spend Analysis application to cater to the service provider’s spend classification and monitoring needs.
In 2019, Zycus launched Zycus Merlin A.I., StudioTM to allow procurement teams to automate mundane. Using Merlin, procurement teams can configure and launch intelligent bots to complete most run-of-the-mill procurement tasks with minimal human intervention

In November 2020, Pagero and Zycus, a provider of an AI-powered source-to-pay suite, are pleased to established a strategic partnership. The partnership aims to help customers accelerate their digital transformation process and strengthen e-invoice compliance across the globe.
In February 2019, Zycus established a partnership with Optimal Cost, a Singapore-based consultancy specializing in procurement optimization and transformation. This partnership allows Zycus to leverage Optimal Cost’s prowess and gain support in Zycus’ suite implementation services in Singapore. This strategic partnership will expand Zycus's presence in the APAC region.
Additionally, Zycus partnered with Walden Global Services (WGS), an enterprise software solution company in Indonesia. This partnership allows Zycus to leverage WGS’s expertise and gain support in Zycus’ suite implementation in South East Asia.
Zycus continued its operations in times of COVID-19 outbreak without any major interruptions. The software developer activated its business continuity plan to ensure that critical operations continue to be available and instructed all customer-facing teams to avoid any travel through mid-April and moved meetings, training, etc. to virtual formats.

Dun & Bradstreet’s global insights are integrated with Zycus Spend Analysis to leverage in-depth market data intelligence, supplier data enrichment, and commodity categorization.
The year 2020 brought more partners and resellers to the Zycus portfolio. The most recent one among them is with the South African management consultancy, Letsema. Letsema will be a reseller and implementation partner for Zycus’ entire suite of procurement automation software for the Africa region.
