ACOM Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities
American Express acquired Acompay, a digital payment automation platform from ACOM Solutions. Acompay was developed in 2016 as a digital payment automation solution for accounts payable (AP) departments. The platform integrates with enterprise resource planning or accounting systems and supports checks, automated clearing houses (ACH), and card payments.
Through this acquisition, American Express is continuing to scale its B2B payments and working capital business. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in the second half of 2019.
ACOM Solutions will continue to operate as it does now, supporting core products including; EZPay Suite, EZConnect, EZ Content Manager, Document.

In August 2017, ACOM Solutions signed a new strategic partnership with WEX. ACOM and WEX will collaborate on an offering to provide business clients with a complete buyer/supplier integrated payable solution on a cloud-based platform. The addition of ACOM's integrated cloud-based, bank-agnostic payment platform will allow clients to send and receive settlement data from their ERP and financial applications easily and efficiently.
