Appcues Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions

In July 2019, Appcues introduced the Product-Led Growth Platform, a new type of software, purpose-built to deliver exceptional user experiences at scale — helping businesses grow faster. There are three core components to the PLGP: The experience layer: The PLGP works by adding a new layer on top of your web or mobile product that empowers non-technical teams to publish in-product experiences in minutes, not weeks. Importantly, PLGP is a native extension of your product experience. Adding a chatbot or other non-native communication to your product experience is just introducing more friction that will slow your business down.

The building, targeting, and measurement: The PLGP includes advanced design, targeting, and personalization capabilities to ensure every in-product experience delivers value and impact—from onboarding through advocacy. And because the PLGP is purpose-built to enable product-led growth, we’ve baked in a flywheel framework for understanding the user lifecycle and reinforcing the path of success from new user to power user. ‍

With these three combined components, businesses will use the Product-Led Growth Platform to accelerate user growth and revenue, scale self-service support, and collect contextual feedback as they’ve never been able to before. They’ll reduce friction throughout their user lifecycle, and keep up with changing user expectations.

In August 2018 Appcues Raises $10M in Series A. The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and the business reach.

In April 2017 Appcues launched Appcues 2.0, the complete platform for better user onboarding.

Appcues Ecosystem, Partners, Resellers and SI

In August 2019, Appcue have partnered with Heap, a software that automatically collects, organizes, analyzes, and connects customer data, so businesses can create more valuable products and experiences. With this partnership Product Managers can quickly identify bottlenecks in their apps and seamlessly release targeted experiences without engineering resources to boost product engagement. By combining Heap and Appcues, product managers can easily spot and then fix the bottlenecks that cause friction in their product. Not only does this help product folk significantly improve engagement, it empowers them to release more targeted experiences without leaning on engineering.

In June 2019 Drift (Conversational Marketing platform that combines chat, email, video, and automation to remove the friction from business buying) and Appcues have launched a partnership to enable a smoother handoff between marketing and product, better workflows for CS and support, and a new way to optimize the product-led growth process.
