In July 2019, Appcues introduced the Product-Led Growth Platform, a new type of software, purpose-built to deliver exceptional user experiences at scale — helping businesses grow faster. In August 2018 Appcues Raises $10M in Series A. The round was led by Sierra Ventures with participation from Accomplice Ventures and angels Matt Mickiewicz, Vinayak Ranade, Andreas Wiese, Ravi Grover, Jessica Meher, Chris Yin, Kevin Liu, and Jordan Doran. In conjunction with the funding, Tim Guleri, Managing Director of Sierra Ventures, joined the Appcues board bringing over a decade of enterprise software experience to the team. The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and the business reach.

In August 2019, Appcue have partnered with Heap, a software that automatically collects, organizes, analyzes, and connects customer data, so businesses can create more valuable products and experiences. With this partnership Product Managers can quickly identify bottlenecks in their apps and seamlessly release targeted experiences without engineering resources to boost product engagement. By combining Heap and Appcues, product managers can easily spot and then fix the bottlenecks that cause friction in their product. Not only does this help product folk significantly improve engagement, it empowers them to release more targeted experiences without leaning on engineering.
In June 2019 Drift (Conversational Marketing platform that combines chat, email, video, and automation to remove the friction from business buying) and Appcues have launched a partnership to enable a smoother handoff between marketing and product, better workflows for CS and support, and a new way to optimize the product-led growth process.
