Revu 2019 enables smoother performance and faster panning and zooming of complex linework with a new hardware-accelerated rendering engine. Improved rendering speed, faster refresh and quicker initial load times allow users to pan and zoom through documents with greatly reduced latency. Revu 2019 is designed to deliver measurable improvements in speed that save valuable time no matter how large the project document set.
Bluebeam Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities
In June 2018 Bluebeam has acquired substantially all of the assets of privately held Project Atlas, LLC. Founded in 2017, Project Atlas created a digital mapping engine that uses geo-location instead of traditional folder structures to organize and visualize 2D plans and construction data.
With Project Atlas added to the portfolio of solutions, users gained an entirely new way to visually organize and unify location-based documents and data, bridging the gap between 3D models and 2D drawings.
This location-based orientation allows design and construction professionals to create and search a seamless digital map of their project that contains plans, people, material, site photos, and drone imagery, all within highly detailed, zoomable layers.
