In January 2021, Celerant has introduced its – mobile apps for online shopping. Available for iOS and Android, retailers can launch a Celerant app to expand their omnichannel strategy. The solution delivers a personal, interactive shopping experience on any mobile device. With seamless integration to Celerant’s back-office software, retailers can make product updates in a central location. This keeps their app and eCommerce website in sync without any additional effort. They can also manage orders from all channels – in-store, online and mobile – in a single place.

Celerant Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions

In June 2022 Celerant expanded its integration with Locally, the world’s largest online-to-offline (O2O) shopping network designed to connect local, online shoppers with brick-and-mortar stores. Through Celerant’s existing integration, retailers can sell their store’s inventory on popular brand websites within the Locally network with same-day, in-store, and/or curbside pickup; this strategy helps retailers reach more online customers, drive traffic to their brick-and-mortar stores, and increase store sales. The newest addition to the integration uses Locally’s PushCart functionality to ‘push’ sales orders from the brand’s eCommerce sites to Celerant’s back-office software.

Through the integration, Celerant’s point of sale automatically sends product SKUs and on-hand quantities to Locally; Locally then pairs each product with its respective brand and image, and displays the products on the brand’s eCommerce site via product pages and/or store locators. From the brand’s website, customers can purchase products directly from a local retailer with same-day in-store pickup. Locally’s network includes major brands across a wide range of retail verticals, including TREK Bicycles, New Balance, Crocs, Brooks Running, Patagonia, YETI, and many others. Leveraging the influence of these major websites drastically increases the retailer’s market reach; it also offers brick-and-mortars an easy way to expand past their storefront and be found online. In 2021, Locally-powered pages exceeded over 1 billion shopper impressions.

In November 2021 Celerant formed a partnership with Otter Waiver, an innovative digital waiver and eSignature system for outdoor sporting and shooting ranges. Through integration with Celerant’s point of sale and range software, dealers can streamline lane reservations with custom, contactless liability waivers, while managing their entire range and retail sales in a single solution.

Celerant offers an all-in-one FFL retail software that enables dealers to manage their gun shop, range, and online sales as one. By integrating with Otter Waiver, dealers can automatically generate digital waivers for each usage by pulling customer data from within the retail database. Users can sign waivers on a tablet-kiosk at the point of sale, and soon will be able to access and sign waivers directly on the dealer’s website. As customer data is updated in Celerant’s back-office software, waivers are automatically updated with the new data– expediting the check-in process and helping to reduce data errors.
