eBaoTech Corporation Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In January 2018, eBaoTech Launches eBaoCloud InsureMO Open API Platform. The platform enables the connection of parties and channels in the insurance ecosystem and can serve as an accelerator from a legacy to a digital insurance technology environment.
The eBaoCloud InsureMO platform first launched in China, followed by pilot markets in the Asia Pacific and Europe, enjoying a successful rate of adoption, according to the vendor. There are currently roughly 100 tenants and over 1,000 insurance products being sold on eBao Cloud, including insurance companies, independent brokers with more than 20 thousand life insurance agents, car dealership companies with over 2 million of insurance policies sold per year, leading internet portal and e-commerce sites, and InsurTech startups, according to the vendor. Based on the success enjoyed so far, eBaoTech decided to launch the platform globally.

In December 2020, eBaoTech Corporation and NTT Data formally elevated their strategic partnership to jointly develop insurance technology ecosystem in Japan, leveraging eBaoTech’s InsureMO middleware. NTT Data will start to develop many of its own or customer built applications based on InsureMO PaaS (Platform as a Service).
In July 2020, eBaoTech Corporation and Neutrinos signed a partnership that aims to deliver new-age digital insurance applications to insurance carriers, brokers/agents and InsurTechs, powered by eBaoTech’s Insurance PaaS platform – eBaoCloud InsureMO (InsureMO) and Neutrinos’ Low Code Multi-Experience Development Platform (MXDP). Joint customers can leverage the front-end application development capabilities for Omni-channels provided by Neutrinos’ Low Code platform and the rich insurance APIs for policy whole lifecycle provided by eBaoCloud InsureMO.
In January 2020, eBaoTech and Willis Towers Watson team up to provide a robust, one-stop insurance middle office platform to accelerate digitalisation across the sector. The collaboration will see Willis Towers Watson’s rating engine, Radar Live, integrated with eBaoTech’s middle office platform, InsureMO, which is designed for open API collaboration. The bundled solution will greatly enhance the capability of insurers, brokers, agents, MGAs and InsurTech startups to handle the overwhelming volume, variation and speed demands of today’s digital insurance marketplace. Based on cloud-native architecture, the middleware platform contains a full set of insurance microservices across all general, life, group and health products and processes such as quotation, underwriting, endorsement, cancellation and renewal.
