Hitit's brand Crane offers a comprehensive suite that covers the entire operational life-circle, starting from schedule and crew planing through core passenger service and ground-handling needs all the way to industrial-standard accounting and reporting tools. Crane also offers complementing solutions such as loyalty, customer management, multiple sales, and distribution channels. Over 70.000 travel agencies use Hitit's system and more than 50 billion flight queries are processed each year. Hitit's systems produced more than 65 million passenger bookings with full GDS integration in all leading distribution systems.

Hitit Bilgisayar Recent Developments

In May 2021, Hitit extended its partnership with Enhanced Partner Identification and Connectivity (EPIC) platform which was launched by The International Air Transport Association (IATA). As the latest trailblazer project in the industry, the IATA EPIC platform aims to meet air cargo players' needs digitally. The platform realizes IATA's goal to make air cargo simpler, safer, and smarter by gathering together all the stakeholders within the supply chain. With its modern turn-key cargo solutions, Hitit was one of the first IT providers to integrate the IATA EPIC platform in this project.

Hitit has completed the first half of 2018 with a new airline partner. Kam Air from Afghanistan completed the migration process and started to use Hitit's solution suite, Crane. Kam Air is operating both scheduled and charter flights domestically and regionally. Hitit Bilgisayar is planning to incorporate Vayant OneSearch and Vayant Repricer air shopping, pricing, and repricing solutions into its airline operations management systems.

By the end of 2019, Hitit expanded its partnership with IBM. Under the new agreement. Hitit adopted IBM’s public cloud infrastructure, including availability zones, to serve as the primary back-up to its on-premises data center for resiliency and disaster recovery. This hybrid cloud strategy is designed to ensure continuous availability of critical applications and uninterrupted services to a list of Hitit clients that include 27 major airlines in 19 countries, travel agencies, and ground handling companies.

In 2021, Hitit welcomed 13 new airline partners during the pandemic, varying from start-ups to LCC, legacy, and flag carriers. Ten of these airlines have started using the full Crane suite, which places Hitit as a one-stop-shop provider, and six of them have selected Hitit’s Cargo Solution, which was commercialized at the end of 2019.

Hitit customers are Chalair Aviation, Arik Air, ALTA, Air Tanzania, GSRM and many others. In April 2019, FlyArystan, a new low-cost carrier from Kazakhstan, has signed up for the Passenger Service System (PSS) provided by leading IT company Hitit. Hitit Bilgisayar Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions

In June 2020, Hitit partnered with Bahamasair, the national flag carrier of The Bahamas. Bahamasair is Hitit’s first partner in the Americas. After the nearly three-month pandemic lockdown, Bahamasair resumed its domestic flights on June 8th. Bahamasair has opted for the full range of Hitit’s Crane Solution Suite including a wide-ranging passenger service system, operations, and accounting.

In April 2019, Hitit opened a liaison office in Karachi (Pakistan), strengthening its position in Asia. The office opening ceremony took place exactly one year after Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Hitit signed their agreement to provide PIA with Hitit's new generation Passenger Service System (PSS). Hitit is the leading provider of airline software in Pakistan with its two airline partners PIA and K2 Airways. With this opening, Hitit has demonstrated its intention to strengthen its presence in Pakistan and the South Asia region.

In May, 2021, Hitit and Royal Brunei Airlines signed new technology partnership to further improve guest experience and digital retailing capability. The national carrier of Brunei Darussalam and Hitit announce the signing of a strategic partnership agreement. The award of this prestigious contract to Hitit is the outcome of an extensive review and evaluation process, conducted by Royal Brunei in conjunction with specialist research firm T2RL. The new partnership will see Hitit providing Royal Brunei with their core passenger service systems, an upgraded internet booking engine and mobile application, as well as a variety of supporting solutions covering airport operations, airline loyalty and customer care. The airline’s global guests will benefit from faster and more intuitive ways of booking flights, a seamlessly integrated passenger experience through the travel journey and value-added travel product options recommended in a personalized way.

In January 2020, Hitit acquired 10 new airline partners from nine countries - Bahamas, Chile, Cyprus, Greece, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Spain, and Uganda.

In 2018, Hitit made a partnership with Kam Air, PassionAir and Pakistan International Airlines, to support its services with several IT solutions. Additionally, Hitit does most of its sales via its own direct sales force.
