In September 2018, Keylane introduced the new platform names: Keylane Axon, the core platform for insurance and Keylane Plexus, the core platform for Pension. Both platforms offer state of the art digital capabilities and are offered in a SaaS model. With the new Axon and Plexus names, that relate to vital parts of the human brain, Keylane continues to invest in its solutions and customer services.
Keylane Recent Developments
In February 2019 Keylane sells its subsidiary FlexiQ, a consultancy company focused on the pension and life sector. The company is transferred via a management buy-out to the current management, Gerrit Noorman, and Magchiel Kessen. Keylane focuses on the development and implementation of SaaS software and the consultancy activities of FlexiQ no longer fit in with Keylane’s strategy. Keylane and FlexiQ remain partners for the deployment of temporary capacity during the software implementations conducted by Keylane.
As of January 2017, Benefits-Plaza operates under the name Keylane. The Benefits Plaza platform offers optimum support to insurers, intermediaries and employers. A fully computerized database offers a clear overview of all employee insurance covers.
Keylane Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Activities
In October 2017, Keylane acquired Bridgevest, a market leader in the Netherlands in the area of digital customer services in the pension sector. Keylane Market Opportunities, M&A and Geo Expansions
In September 2018, APG, the largest pension provider in the Netherlands, sold their subsidiary Inovita (and pension administration system Lifetime) to Keylane. The activities of software supplier Inovita no longer fit APG’s strategy. The acquisition means Inovita increases their product offer and innovation power.
In April 2017, Keylane acquired Schantz, a recognized leader of software solutions for financial institutions. The combination of resources and capabilities will ensure that both Keylane and Schantz clients will benefit from the delivery of future-proof solutions. With Schantz, Keylane has acquired a modern and innovative software platform that can be used in the transformation of the international life and pension market. The combination will provide a solid base for future international growth and will accelerate R & D.
