In June 2021, Model N announced the availability of a new Deal Management solution as part of the Model N Revenue Cloud for Life Sciences. Deal Management connects field sales professionals with operations teams to support the execution and management of the order-to-cash process. Its capabilities enable more effective management of upfront pricing, pricing “tiers” and off-invoice discounts, while providing data, information and analytics that empower field sales teams to foster deeper and more profitable relationships with healthcare providers, integrated delivery networks (IDNs) and group purchasing organizations (GPOs).
In June 2020, Model N unveiled several major platform updates and new features as part of its Spring 2020 Life Sciences product release. Enhancements to the Model N Revenue Cloud for Life Sciences include new software integrations, an improved user interface (UI), support for advanced medical claims processing, and extended pricing and rebate management capabilities, as well as extended support for complex contracts to facilitate greater compliance with financial regulations, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
In November 2018 Model N released its new Revenue Execution Cloud. This latest release empowers Chief Revenue Officers, Market Access Leaders, and Channel Chiefs to create more efficient sales organizations, more sophisticated channel incentive programs, and to deliver increased insights and intelligence on their revenue-driving programs and activities. In December 2020, Model N has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Deloitte’s life sciences pricing and contracting solutions business and underlying technology. In January 2021, Model N unveiled that specialty manufacturer Octapharma USA, Inc. has selected the Model N Revenue Management Cloud for Life Sciences, including Model N’s Provider Management and Provider Intelligence applications, as its revenue management system of record.
